1、运动规划功能
实际上是形成运动的速度和位置的基准量。合适的基准量不但可以改善轨迹的精度,而且其影响作用还可以降低对转动系统以及机械传递元件的要求。通用运动控制器通常都提供基于对冲击、加速度和速度等这些可影响动态轨迹精度的量值加以限制的运动规划方法,用户可以直接调用相应的函数。
对于加速度进行限制的运动规划产生梯形速度曲线;对于冲击进行限制的运动规划产生S形速度曲线。一般来说,对于数控机床而言,采用加速度和速度基准量限制的运动规划方法,就已获得一种优良的动态特性。对于高加速度、小行程运动的快速定位系统,其定位时间和超调量都有严格的要求,往往需要高阶导数连续的运动规划方法。
2、多轴插补、连续插补功能
通用运动控制器提供的多轴插补功能在数控机械行业获得广泛的应用。近年来,由于雕刻市场,特别是模具雕刻机市场的快速发展,推动了运动控制器的连续插补功能的发展。在模具雕刻中存在大量的短小线段加工,要求段间加工速度波动尽可能小,速度变化的拐点要平滑过渡,这样要求运动控制器有速度前瞻和连续插补的功能。固高科技公司推出的专门用于小线段加工工艺的连续插补型运动控制器,该控制器在模具雕刻、激光雕刻、平面切割等域获得了良好的应用。
